women (66%) think advertisers have now recognised that women are now equally
important in purchasing decisions beyond just food.
· 48% of
adults think most advertising reinforces gender stereotypes.

Nearly half (48%) of women think
the biggest challenge facing women in Ireland this year is getting the work
life balance to a happy medium, 45% think the biggest challenge is having
children while trying to build a career, and 40% think the challenge is
tackling violence against women.
·
59% think that advertising
has got better in how it depicts women, however only 23% of women think women
and girls are portrayed accurately in the media and advertising.
