68% of Irish adults think January is the most depressing month of the year with 31% of these blaming going Back to Work.

 

·      2 in 3 adults (68%) think January is the most depressing month with 63% of these blaming the dark mornings and evenings.

 

·       Of these 31% of adults think January is the most depressing month as they have to return to work, 30% dislike January due to their bad financial situation after Christmas, and 30% feel depressed due to their weight gain after Christmas.

 

·       59% of adults that dislike Winter with most blaming shorter days. Of these 55% dislike the dark mornings, and 50% dislike the bad weather.

 

·       30% of adults feel they suffer from the Winter Blues.

 

·       41% of adults like Winter and of these 57% like it because of Christmas, 43% like it as they have holidays, 41% like the hot drinks.
