During the pandemic, 69% of those using online dating apps felt more insecure.

 

·      39% of adults have used or currently use a dating app. 61% of adults aged 18-24 have used a dating app.

 

·       The majority (79%) of adults who have used a dating app have gone on a date with someone they first met through an online dating site or dating app.

 

·       Nearly half (45%) of adults who have used dating apps have been in a committed relationship or married someone that they first met through an online daring site or dating app.

 

·       73% of dating app users have come across the dating profile of someone they already know offline.

 

 

·       69% of online dating site users found it easy to find people online that they were attracted to, while 63% found it easy to find someone online they shared interest with.

 

·       Over half (55%) found it difficult to find someone who was looking for the same type of relationship as them.
