67% of respondents are expecting
cuts or restrictions in electricity supplies this winter and 30% expect cuts or
restrictions in motor fuel (petrol or diesel).

in energy costs this winter, of these 44% are very anxious.

Over half (55%) think that
the Governments plan to offer electricity credit to households will help with
the rising energy costs.

With the recent
announcement that the Government will ask people, not force people, to reduce their energy
consumption during the peak hours of 4pm-7pm this winter 23% of adults will
reduce energy by up to 20%

1 in 3 adults (34%) are
likely to invest in energy upgrades such as attic insulation and the servicing
of boilers before this winter.

31% of adults are likely to
increase their use of public transport in order to save energy. Of these 14%
are very likely to increase public transport use.
